How Adam and Eve Met…

Written and Animated by Sinbad Richardson

Dave Wheaton – Adam
Laura Wills – Eve
Alexander Chow – Male Friend
Tinjia Rosalinda – Female Friend

“Thank you all for making LE MOOD, the newest Montreal Jewish festival, a huge hit! Over 800 people dared to be curious and walked through LE MOOD’s doors on Sunday, June 5. Contributions from presenters, volunteers, curators, participants, and musical acts made LE MOOD stand out from anything Montreal had seen before.

The goal of LE MOOD was to create a community within which we can learn together. It was an honour that you joined us in the spirit of the day and explored what Jewish identity means to you. Thank you for being part of this remarkable day!”

Oh A Oiler!

Wow, this has been a weird day! So, last night Alex Chow is watching a video of Bono live in Edmonton talking about how he was hitchhiking in Vancouver the day prior and was picked up by Gilbert Brulé of the Edmonton Oilers. And then, you hear the cameraman say in the most peculiar voice “Oh! A Oiler!”. (We have since been in touch with the guy, Wayne Chow of Edmonton)

Here is the original video (fast forward to 2:05).

We then made this remix of that infamously awkward moment.
(Alex Chow made the music, I made the video)

Then I got a message from the Edmonton Journal for an interview.

You can download the mp3 of “Oh, A Oiler!” by clicking on the downward arrow on the right.

I’m wondering how much of the story is real. Could it be a publicity stunt for U2′s Canadian dates? the Edmonton Oilers? Gilbert Brulé who had a rough season? The truth doesn’t really matter at this point, it was a day of good old wholesome ridiculousness.
